Job Summary:
The Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations of restaurant, bar, banquet, and room service outlets to ensure exceptional guest service in alignment with brand standards. This role supports team leadership, operational efficiency, and guest satisfaction while maintaining Marriott’s commitment to quality and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day food and beverage operations, including restaurants, lounges, banquets, and in-room dining
- Ensure all guests receive prompt, professional, and courteous service
- Monitor service standards to align with Marriott brand expectations
- Assist in scheduling, training, and coaching team members
- Lead pre-shift meetings and communicate daily goals and updates
- Handle guest concerns or complaints and resolve them in a timely, professional manner
- Coordinate with kitchen and banquet teams to ensure smooth service execution
- Inspect outlets for cleanliness, safety, and proper setup
- Support inventory control, ordering, and cost management
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Assist in implementing promotions, upselling strategies, and revenue-driving initiatives
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and shift logs
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in food & beverage operations or hospitality leadership
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of POS systems and basic financial reporting
- Food safety certification (e.g., ServSafe) preferred
