The Cocktail Waitress position at Marriott El Paso involves providing excellent service to guests in a bar setting. The role focuses on creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction through attentive service and knowledge of the menu.
Responsibilities:
- Set up bar (fill up ice bins, set up liquor bottles, bar garnishes, bar glassware, flatware).
- Restock beer bottles.
- Restock Bar mixers.
- Welcome guests and promptly attend to tables.
- Serve food and beverages to guests, making recommendations of our food items and wine selection.
- Share your menu knowledge with guests with questions and special requests.
- Record transactions in the MICROS system correctly and timely.
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each course and beverage.
- Clean tables, complete closing duties, and re-stock tableware and other supplies.
- Sweep/mop.
- Clean tables as needed.
- Clean the bar counter/sanitize the bar area on a daily basis.
- Polish glassware.
- fold napkins.
- Ensure food condiments in the kitchen are being set up.
Cocktail Waitress Requirements:
- Experience may be preferred, especially if serving beverages in a fine dining establishment.
- Ability to walk, stand, and carry heavy trays.
- A friendly, attentive attitude.
- Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and food.
